My review: It is sad to know that this is the last book in the K2 series, however it still rocked. Cody came back from Afghanistan not expecting anything. He just wants to work, find the dog he left behind, and get through his PTSD. He did not want the distraction of the neighbor or anything else that has to do with a normal life.
Riley defeated the odds of her crappy childhood to become a veterinarian. When animals start getting poisoned and things start happening to her she never imagines the new hot neighbor is going to become her knight in shining armor.
I loved how each book in this series is its own but you still revisit the other people involved in the K2 series. I am going to miss this series, but I know I can always revisit them in the future.
