Christi Caldwell writes historical romance. My daughter and I had the opportunity to sit with her in NY and have lunch, she is a sweet person as well as an awesome writer. Her books are all entrancing whether it is the Duke or the Scoundrel.

 I gave this book 5 stars
I thought the Marquees of Rutland would never let anyone get in his heart or he would change. Finally while trying to get revenge he meets Phoebe and she changes everything.
I enjoyed reading this book of was charming and kept my curiosity going. Waiting to see if Rutland would change was pretty cool as well.
To finalize this is a clean, quirky, and enchanting book.
