I was supposed to meet K. Bromberg in Philly last year but unfortunately I didn’t make it. Lucky for me my friend were able to pick up my books. They are an emotional roller coaster that not only deals with relationships but how childhood abuse can affect you relationships.

Our paths should never have crossed.
Colton Donavan was arrogant, exuded that bad boy vibe, and embodied everything I never wanted. And yet all it took was one night, one hallway, and one stolen kiss for me to know I hated him and desired him instantly. My heart was healing. His soul was damaged. But with one bid, one little boy, and one carnival date, I couldn’t walk away and he wouldn’t let me in. This is our story. Our fight. Our perfectly imperfect love.
My review:
Rylee runs a nonprofit for young boys who have no where to go. She lives her life quietly.
Colton is a race car driver who has everything you can want in life, according to the press.
When Rylee falls out of a closet and into Colton arms she doesn’t know what comes over her, she is immediately sucked in. She finds him very arrogant. Things only get worse for her when one of the girls do not show up for the bachelorette auction and she has to take her place. She doesn’t know who wins her, the anticipation kills her.
Colton has to have her no matter what by winning her in the auction and takes everything to the next level.
The emotional state you will be left in when this book is finished will send you right into the next one in the series. The abuse involved is so well written and the book deals with many different things it is not you usually romance or alpha male story.
What happens when the one person you never expected suddenly happens to be the one you’ll fight the hardest to keep? Colton stole my heart. He wasn’t supposed to, and I sure as hell didn’t want him to, but he crashed into my life, ignited feelings within me that I thought had died forever, and fueled a passion that I never knew could exist.
My review:
This is book two in the Driven trilogy.
Colton and Rylee are struggling in their relationship they both can’t stand to be away from each other but as Rylee is so patient with him, Colton can’t deal with his feelings. His past consumes him and his future is at risk. Rylee knows how much she loves him and she can’t let go. When he calls for a pit stop she is devastated but she will wait. Her life will go on and she will continue with her boys and helping them to heal. Not only do they have their own issue but they have his past as well which includes Tawny, who tries to manipulate them as much as she can to tear them apart. Not only does Colton want to be with Rylee but he also wants to help her boys as he knows where they are at as he has been there. In the end when tragedy happens how are they going to pull through.
Life is full of moments.
Big moments.
Little moments.
And none of them are inconsequential.
Every single moment prepares you for that one instance that defines your life. You must overcome all your fears, confront the demons that chase you, and cleanse the poison that clings to your soul or you risk the chance of losing everything.
My review:
Book three in the Driven trilogy finds Colton in the hospital after a bad accident and his family and Rylee stand by him. It is a struggle for her to deal with this she can’t lose him. She is beside herself. She is reminded of things in the past. She refuses to leave his side.
Not wanting to give anything away they have so much more to work through and so much more life to live. They run into more tragedies and have much more to give. This is probably the most emotional of the three and the ending is spectacular as the anticipation is building while you are reading this book you will not be disappointed.
